Activities Resource Guide
Ad Marketing Group owned and published the Activities Resource Guide. This Guide was an annual publication designed for secondary school principals, student activities directors, and athletic directors who manage extracurricular programs for their schools. It was a comprehensive resource tool for those leading school activities.

American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)
AAPA has 46,000 physician assistant members. Ad Marketing Group won the AAPA account to manage the advertising sales for its monthly magazine, PA Professional and corporate sponsorships offered by AAPA.

American Accreditation HealthCare Commission/URAC
Managed the advertising sales for URAC’s annual Directory of Accredited Organizations and exhibit sales for URAC’s annual Quality Summit. Developed a marketing plan, set sales strategies and implemented sales plans. Increased advertising sales revenue for the Directory by 77 percent in the first year and an additional 15 percent in the second year.

American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI)
Managed advertising sales for AFFI’s publications for eight years which included a quarterly magazine—Frozen Food Report, annual Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide, and all convention publications and developed an on-line Buyer’s Guide.

American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)
Managed advertising sales for AIHA’s publications including its monthly magazine, The Synergist, a bi-monthly journal, AIHA Journal, conference programs and newspapers and online advertising. AMG increased overall sales in AIHA’s publications by 13 percent in the first year.

American Physical Therapy Association’s Sections and State Chapters

Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Section — managed the advertising sales for The Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal (CPTJ).

Geriatrics – managed the advertising sales for the section’s official publications; GeriNotes, the newsletter for the Section on Geriatrics which is published six times a year, and the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy which is published three times a year.

Neurology – managed the advertising sales for The Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy (JNPT) which is published four times a year.

Washington State Chapter – managed the advertising sales for the state of Washington Chapter’s annual Membership Directory and Resource Guide.

Women’s Health – managed the advertising sales for the Section’s peer reviewed publication, The Journal of Women’s Health Physical Therapy and the Section’s newsletter, Highlights on Women’s Health.

Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA)
Managed the advertising sales for Senior Living Executive Magazine, ALFA Update e-Newsletter, and ALFA.org.

Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)
The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) is the world’s leading organization for advancing the development, safety, and effective use of medical technology. Ad Marketing Group managed AAMI’s advertising sales effort from 2011 through 2015 and consistently increased ad revenue each year.

Association for Performing Arts Presenters (APAP)
Managed the advertising sales effort for APAP’s monthly magazine, Inside Arts, annual Membership Directory, insidearts.org, Onsite Showcase Listing Book, Online Showcase Banners, and Conference Totebag Inserts.

Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO)
Managed the global advertising sales effort for BIO’s bi-monthly newspaper, BIO News; annual conference publications including the Sessions and Program Preview(s), Final Program, and the Registration and Housing Brochure; BIO’s annual Membership Directory; and online advertising on bio.org. Advertising sales revenue grew by 29 percent in the first year and 32 percent in the second year.

Boat Owners Association of the United States
Developed an advertising program for the now regularly featured Waterfront Living section in BoatU.S. Magazine and was commissioned to sell the section’s advertising space to waterfront developers and realtors. BoatU.S. Magazine and its Waterfront Living section publish six times a year.

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficite/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)
CHADD is the nation’s leading non-profit organization serving individuals with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(AD/HDP). Ad Marketing Group worked with CHADD for five years and managed the advertising sales effort for Attention Magazine and the Attention 2.0 e-newsletter.

Customer Facing Media
Sold advertising packages for the roll-out of an in-store, interactive media center called Touch ‘n Save. Developed the advertising database and called on in-store media buyers and sold them advertising/couponing programs on this revolutionary new media center.

eSchool News
Managed the eastern territory sales for eSchool News—a national newspaper serving the information technology needs of the K-12 market.

Food Distributors International (FDI)
Increased overall advertising revenue by 30 percent in the first year of representing FDI publications and consistent growth continued each year. Services included advertising sales efforts for FDI’s bi-monthly magazine Food Distributor, annual Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide, conference publications, and web site.

Food Marketing Institute (FMI)
Launched a new monthly magazine entitled ADVANTAGE for FMI. Developed the database of advertisers and managed the national advertising sales effort. Also worked with FMI convention sales to coordinate advertising sales for show dailies, show maps, and conference sponsorships.

Food & Drug Law Institute 
Managed the re-launch of FDLI’s bi-monthly magazine – FDLI Update. Services included a complete market share report studying publications in the food and drug industries, developed an advertising database, a full publication marketing plan, media kit, and magazine redesign concepts.

Governing Magazine
Worked for Governing Magazine on a special project managing a sales territory on an interim basis.

Insurance Advisor Monthly
Managed the advertising sales efforts for the Maryland/DC and Northern Virginia editions of Insurance Advisor Monthly. Advertising sales revenues were increased by 41 percent in the first year of representation and by 77 percent in year two.

Legal Times
Developed a publication marketing program and implemented an advertising sales effort aimed at selling advocacy advertising in Legal Times – an American Lawyer Media publication.

MAP America Corporation
Managed advertising sales for MAP Washington Street Map and Visitor Guide as well as the circulation of one million MAPs annually using a distribution network of over 400 distribution points throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area as well as Virginia and Maryland Welcome centers.

National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
Managed sales for a special advertising section featuring Computer Aided Design (CAD) for NECA’s official publication Electrical Contractor.

National Middle School Association (NMSA)
Managed all advertising sales efforts to launch Middle Ground Magazine and sales exceeded association plans by 21 percent in the first year of existence. Also handled the advertising sales for NMSA’s, Middle School Journal, and all conference programs and newspapers. Sales consistently increased an average of 15 percent each of the eight years we worked with NMSA.

Additional work with NMSA included contract publishing an annual Middle School Buyer’s Guide and companion web site. Ad Marketing Group was the Publisher of the Buyer’s Guide and NMSA lent its name to the project.

Optical Society of America (OSA)
Managed advertising sales efforts for OSA’s monthly magazine, Optics and Photonics News (OPN), starting in 2000. Media Industry Newsletter (MIN) reported that OPN annual advertising revenue was increased by 90.3 percent from February 2000 to February 2001. Work included advertising sales for OPN, Applied Optics Journal, and online sales. A full Market Share Analysis was conducted to study the optics, laser & photonics industry.

Parents Magazine
Researched and developed the concept for Parents PC, a special section which published in the April 1995 issue of Parents Magazine featuring home computer systems. Developed an information technology advertising database, managed sales for the section, developed a merchandising program and provided editorial consultation.
